Retreats & Camps

Retreats and Camps at Salvado Catholic College are an integral part of the educational program of the College. Such experiences provide students with time away from the normal school program during which they have the opportunity to engage in activities that focus on development of self and relationships with others. The activities that students are invited to participate in whilst on Retreats and Camps provide opportunities for them to develop both social and leadership skills, increase their sense of belonging and connectedness, and foster meaningful relationships within the College.

During College Retreats, the emphasis is on students’ awareness of the presence of God in their lives. Through their experiences on Retreat, students come to know Christian love and are exposed to a Gospel-centred way of life. They participate in the life of the Christian community through liturgical experiences and other activities that emphasise growth in Christian faith. Retreat programs bring the power of the Gospel into contemporary culture in a way that engages and empowers young people to live as Jesus taught.

Students will have the opportunity to participate in off-site Retreat and Camp experiences in various year levels from Year 5 through to Year 12.
