Curriculum

The School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) requires all students to be taught 8 different Learning Areas.

As Salvado Catholic College is a Catholic College, in addition to the required SCSA subjects, Religious Education is also taught in all primary and secondary classes. The Curriculum delivered to the students of Salvado Catholic College includes the following:

  • Religious Education

  • English

  • Mathematics

  • Humanities and Social Sciences

  • Science

  • The Arts

  • Technologies

  • Health and Physical Education

  • Languages

In order to ensure that our students in the Primary Campus can be taught these subjects in a comprehensive and creative way, we have already developed some outstanding facilities. Once students enter Secondary schooling, these subjects become more complex and as a result, we have new specialist Learning Spaces for our Secondary Students in order to deliver teaching and learning in the areas of:

  • Science

  • Design and Technologies (Materials)

  • Design and Technologies (Food)

  • Visual Arts and Fashion

  • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
